Annual report of the Historical Society (2003) Return to: Historical Page Home This past year the Society received several donations for the exhibits, updated our township obituary notebook, and also assisted students in art classes in the Town Hall.
We attended a
dinner meeting at the Kitchi Gammi, sponsored by the St. Louis County Historical
Society, where a speaker described current IRRRB activities.
In the past
eight years we have produced 27 Newsletter township history. If there are local
stories we have missed, especially of the Caribou Lake and Wild Rice Lake areas,
we welcome your suggestions for future articles.
The Historical
Society remains financially independent and continues to document our
collection. Our thanks to the community for your support, especially those who have donated historical material.
